The Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and National Library of Medicine have added new content to their website on Radiation Emergency Medical Management, including prototype hospital orders for radiation injury admission. The website provides guidance for health care providers, primarily physicians, about clinical diagnosis and treatment of radiation injury during radiological and nuclear emergencies. Users also can download most of the information in case the Internet is not available in an emergency, or access it on a smartphone app called Mobile REMM.
