Michigan hospitals benefit economy, community

Michigan hospitals provided nearly 227,000 jobs and $2.9 billion in community benefits in fiscal year 2014, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association reports. The community benefits include covering the costs of $2.1 billion in unpaid patient care. For more information, click here.
