The AHA has elected eight members to its Board of Trustees for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, and appointed one member to fill a one-year vacancy. The newly elected members are: Vanessa Ervin, past chair and a current board member of the Onslow Memorial Hospital Authority, Jacksonville, NC; Rodney Hochman, M.D., president and CEO of Providence St. Joseph Health; M. Michelle Hood, president and CEO of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems; Wright Lassiter III, president of Henry Ford Health System in Detroit; David Molmen, CEO of Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND; Jason Spring, chief executive of provider network integration for Kalispell (MT) Regional Healthcare; Allen Weiss, M.D., president and CEO of NCH Healthcare System in Naples, FL; and Joe Wilkins, vice chair of St. Joseph Hoag Health (Providence St Joseph Health) in Irvine, CA. Appointed to a one-year vacancy on the board was David Entwistle, president and CEO of Stanford (CA) Health Care. For more, see the AHA news release.
