The AHA’s Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management today presented its 2016 George R. Gossett Leadership Award to Christopher O’Connor, executive vice president of GNYHA Ventures Inc., president of GNYHA Services Inc. and president of Nexera Inc. “Christopher’s visionary, transformative and engaging qualities were essential in propelling the supply chain profession and the AHRMM membership into positioning supply chain at the intersection of Cost, Quality, and Outcomes,” said Mary Beth Lang, chair of the AHRMM Board of Directors. “Without his tenacity and leadership, the CQO Movement may have been a fleeting concept.” AHRMM is an AHA personal membership group for health care materials management executives. The award, the group’s highest honor, was presented at AHRMM’s annual conference in San Diego. For more information, visit www.ahrmm.org
