AHA board appoints new member
Judith Rich, president and CEO of Tucson (AZ) Medical Center Healthcare, has been appointed to the AHA Board of Trustees. Her term begins immediately and runs through Dec. 31, 2018. “Judy brings a wealth of clinical health care knowledge to the AHA Board of Trustees,” said Jim Skogsbergh, president and CEO, Advocate Health Care and AHA board chair. “As the field continues to evolve, Judy’s depth of experience will help guide the AHA and our hospital and health system members into the future.” Rich, a nurse who has led TMC since 2007, served as the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association board chair from 2012-2015 and has been a member of the AzHHA board since 2008. In addition, she has served on numerous local, state and national boards and committees.
