About two-thirds of people who buy their own health insurance are satisfied with their coverage, according to a survey conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation after open enrollment closed in January. Nearly two-thirds of respondents enrolled through a Health Insurance Marketplace and 20% outside the Marketplace. Three in 10 respondents rated their coverage as “not so good” or “poor,” up from two in 10 in previous years. Three-quarters of respondents were satisfied with their plan’s choice of hospitals and primary care physicians, six in 10 were satisfied with their plan’s premium and half with their deductible.
