Nick Turkal, M.D., president and CEO of Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, is 2016 chairman of the AHA's Constituency Section for Health Care Systems. Turkal also has served as Aurora’s chief medical officer and metro region president, and before that was vice president for academic affairs and senior associate dean for the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Joseph McDonald, president and CEO of Catholic Health System in Buffalo, NY, is the section’s chairman-elect and will assume the role of chairman in 2017.
