The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will host two webinars this week on its proposed Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement model, which would bundle payment to acute care hospitals for hip and knee replacement surgery. The 60-minute webinars, on July 15 at 1 p.m. ET and July 16 at 2 p.m. ET, will describe the proposed rule and respond to questions. For more on the proposed model, which would be mandatory for most hospitals in 75 geographic areas, see the recent AHA Special Bulletin for members.
