Hospitals and others are invited to apply through Aug. 10 for the 2016 Circle of Life Awards, recognizing innovative initiatives and programs for palliative and end-of-life care. In particular, the award seeks to honor programs that can be models for other health care organizations working to embed palliative and end-of-life care in a variety of care settings. Up to three awards plus Citations of Honor will be presented at the AHA-Health Forum Leadership Summit July 17-19 in San Diego. For more information, visit www.aha.org/circleoflife or e-mail circleoflife@aha.org. Hear past honorees talk about their innovations and the award's value at https://www.youtube.com/user/AHAhospitals.
