Nearly two-thirds of Kansas voters support the proposed expansion of the state’s Medicaid program to cover 160,000 uninsured adults earning up to 138% of the federal poverty level, according to a poll released this week by the Kansas Hospital Association. The KanCare 2.0 proposal, supported by KHA, would provide access to health care coverage options for newly eligible individuals while employing personal responsibility through cost sharing and rewarding healthy outcomes and responsible health choices.
