This year, I look forward to continuing AHA’s Leadership Rounds, short conversations on trending topics with health care leaders from around the country.

Joining me to launch this year’s series is Tom Priselac, president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, and a former chair of the AHA Board of Trustees.

During this episode, we discuss the COVID-19 surges that California and many other states are experiencing. Tom shares his insights on expanding the administration of COVID-19 vaccines, including leveraging public-private partnerships. We also consider opportunities the pandemic has created to rethink health care delivery.

I hope you find these talks interesting and useful. Look for them once a month as part of the chair file.

Rod Hochman, M.D.
AHA Chair
