Description

Microgrids combine energy storage, generator sets, and controls into on-site power generation systems that provide electricity, heat, and cooling with unprecedented advantages for health care facilities. These advantages include extremely high reliability of electric service, nearly perfect power quality, sustainable LEED certifications, and ultimately lowest life-cycle owning and operating costs.

This webinar will provide an overview of microgrids, major microgrid components, and considerations for health care facilities when evaluating microgrids. Attendees will also learn how integrating solar power and energy storage, with traditional standby generator sets, can provide savings, reliability, and sustainable solutions to health care facilities.
