Held Thursday, March 14, 2019
The American Hospital Association’s Hospital Against Violence initiative hosted this webinar to aid health care providers in understanding and addressing the role of opioid use for individuals at risk of, currently experiencing, or recovering from trafficking. We examined trauma-informed care approaches for providers, client-based, and research perspectives to understand contributing factors to vulnerability. Together we can identify promising practices and spotlight treatment options that address the underlying issues that can put victims and survivors at risk.
