2018 Team Training National Conference

The Team Training National Conference delivers techniques, tools and innovative ideas that help health care professionals to successfully implement TeamSTEPPS® and improve patient safety. The conference programming ranges from pre-conference sessions to keynote presentations to concurrent presentation panels. Networking opportunities and poster sessions allow participants to connect and learn with peers.

The mission of the conference is to grow the TeamSTEPPS community to drive the patient safety movement forward by successfully implementing and sustaining TeamSTEPPS. Innovation is a key element in mapping the future of TeamSTEPPS and the changing health care environment. There is no better setting to experience the impact of TeamSTEPPS in various clinical and non-clinical settings, while making invaluable contacts with old and new colleagues. The conference is open to all – from clinical to non-clinical and novices to experts in TeamSTEPPS and patient safety. The conference is ideal in making connections to others experiencing similar success and challenges in improving the quality, safety and efficiency of health care.

There will be pre-conference workshops June 19-20 and the main conference from June 20-22. The conference will feature:

• A pre-conference Master Training Course
• Three 4-hour pre-conference workshops
• Main conference breakout sessions in four TeamSTEPPS topic tracks
• Two networking events and a poster session
• Three keynote presentations
