The AHA Feb. 3 at noon ET will host a call for member hospitals and health systems featuring Michael Bell, M.D., deputy director of the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Emerging Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases.

The American Hospital Association’s 2021 public policy advocacy agenda seeks to continue to positively influence the public policy environment for patients, communities and the health care field. We will work hand in hand with our members; the state, regional and metropolitan hospital associations; national health care organizations; and other stakeholders to develop and implement an advocacy strategy to fulfill our vision.

COVID-19 Resources ADVISORY: Novel Coronavirus EVS Advisory (formerly Novel Coronavirus or 2019-nCoV) 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring, and collaborating with the World Health Organization (WHO), on an outbreak caused by a novel coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

AHA continues to report on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization.

With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Health Research & Educational Trust has developed a playbook of effective methods, tools and strategies to create new partnerships and sustain successful existing ones.
