Baxter Regional Medical Center - Kidz in Motion

Kidz in Motion is a free health and wellness event for area children. Held annually, this fun interactive event includes activities such as a rock-climbing wall and a visit from area ambulance, police and fire departments. Parents/guardians have the opportunity to ask a panel of experts questions about their children’s health during 10-minute interactive presentations. Each child goes through every station and receives approximately $25 worth of shirts, first-aid kits and many other freebies.

What is it?

Who is it for?

Area children, ages three to 12; all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event is open to the first 250 registrants.

Why do they do it?

Mountain Home is in an area with lakes, rivers and great hiking trails. Event leaders want to encourage all youth to perform at the highest level of fitness that they can attain.

Impact

Children return each year and say that they are applying knowledge from the event, staying active and encouraging their families to do the same.
