Who is it for?

Uninsured and needy community residents.

Why do they do it?

A large population in White County is medically underserved. A Day of Caring catches people with serious medical needs who would otherwise have fallen through the cracks in the health care system.

Impact

Each year, nearly 1,600 people receive services. More than 600 volunteers work, representing more than 100 organizations. The 16th Annual A Day of Caring in 2012 served 1,665 people.
