Frisbie Memorial Hospital - Healthy Moves

With the increasing trend of childhood obesity in this country, Frisbie Memorial Hospital’s latest community initiative is to improve the nutrition and fitness habits of children. “Healthy Moves” is a collaboration between Frisbie’s Outpatient Nutrition Services and Rehabilitation Services departments. The program promotes a lifetime of well-being in a fun and interactive way. Topics have been designed to provide students with the information needed to make healthy food and activity choices. Classes are led by registered and licensed Frisbie dietitians and a physical therapist assistant.
