MedStar Washington Hospital Center's Washington Cancer Institute (WCI) - Cancer Support Services (CSS)

CSS was established to provide support services to meet the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of patients and their families during and after cancer treatment. It provides resources and programs for cancer survivors to learn about their diagnosis and understand the choices they have for living well after cancer. Programs include an overview of specific cancers and ways for participants to reduce their risk through symptom recognition, early detection and lifestyle modifications.
