Who is it for?

Residents of Juab County and surrounding areas.

Why do they do it?

The program has helped the community expand educational opportunities while helping the hospital address the issue of a continuing nursing shortage. Hosting the program locally saves students driving an hour to reach an actual college campus.

Impact

Since 2005, the partnership has allowed many students to obtain needed educational requirements to become an LPN without traveling long distances.
