Vyaire Medical recently alerted customers to immediately disable a setting in certain bellavista 1000 and 1000e ventilators that can cause the ventilators to stop working. While it develops a software update to address the issue, the company advises customers to follow instructions provided in its correction notice to disable the HL7 data communication if activated.
