Description
During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals have been challenged to provide care for many more patients while working to keep their teams safe and healthy. In the midst of a growing workforce shortage, compounded by the ongoing toll the pandemic has taken on all, health care teams innovated to deliver care to their communities. In this Value Break, learn how Atrium Health and Yale New Haven Hospital redesigned staffing structures due to COVID-19, and the impact it has on patient outcomes and experience, and ultimately cost.
Value Breaks are designed to be short sessions on relevant topics, i.e., modern day break room discussions.
