Oak Street’s RubiconMD Acquisition to Drive Virtual Specialty Care

The recent acquisition of RubiconMD by Oak Street Health will enable the value-based primary care disruptor to add virtual specialty care to its service offerings.

Oak Street patients will have access to RubiconMD’s network of more than 230 specialists covering all major specialties. RubiconMD will provide clinical insights from specialists on specific patient cases, enabling primary care providers to directly manage and coordinate more of a patient’s care needs.

Oak Street, which primarily serves Medicare patients, has been focused on driving more resources into the primary care setting.
